The "Clutter House" Syndrome Case

You will find that decorating is one of the many aspects of home life that is very different. It entails no small amount of passion, and an involvement of all five senses. More often than not it gives rise to various emotions, whether they're positive or negative ones. So yes, decorating actually is not a mere activity, nor is it just a hobby; in fact it is the driving force for many people to create a comfortable home for their own satisfactio. The one place to restore their energy in a pleasing environment before jumping once again into our stressful world.

However, many have noted that decorating, by itself, isn't even remotely as completely fulfilling as having a home that is organized, clean, and also very beautifully rich in details. It is not too a stretch, then, when organizing and decorating are said to go hand in hand. One cannot be completed without the other.

So as to push your motivation higher in order to put you into decorating mood, I have written below a list of suggestions to make it easier for you to organize your own home in this season:

Paper Clutter

1. If someone on your family loves to collect old things, particularly those newspapers dating back from 1978 because no one would actually read the thing, I advise you to run right now to the nearest sanitation department and quickly rent one industrial-sized dumpster to visit your driveway, maybe for a week or two.

2. It is okay, you know, to allow yourself to touch the incoming papers and mails for more than once... only if your second 'touching' is to carry them to the dumpster, okay?

3. Do you own that one pile of 'things to archive' while actually it keeps on growing and growing? Yep, you've guessed it - dump those too. It's okay, you can always print another copy or forward all of the informations over the Internet. Wow. Technology!

Clothing

My mother would make me try on various garments for the upcoming season, twice in a year. But she always chose the worst possible time to make me try those clothes. Summer clothes would always be tried in cold mornings and woolens or flannels next on the hottest day on record... (You may try this as your own example if you and your kids have the comfort of air conditioning). Really, it's probably not worth hanging on to if you haven't worn something in the time it took you to have your second child.

Kids' Toys

1. Try to "limit" the toys they could play with for each month. And then, cycle them from time to time so your little ones get variety.

2. Actually the above option takes too much effort. So alternatively, tell your children to behave and take their toys from their floor at bedtims, or they would found those toys next morning in the dumpster. Be firm about those rules and you will have this area under control in no time.

Hope all the pointers given above could provide you with some new ways and tricks to avoid the problem of clutters. Your home would become really fresh and new again. Oh, you might want to consider renting a second dumpster if you found too much fun in just one.
